Healing cap abutments can help promote soft and hard tissue healing around an implant. The healing caps also protect the main part of the implant from plaque and debris accumulations.
The healing caps are often fitted on top of the implant. They are slightly wider than the implant to help shape the gumline. An oral surgeon can fit the healing abutment in either the one-stage or two-stage procedure.
GDT Dental Implants provides a lifetime warranty on eligible dental implants manufactured under the GDT brand, subject exclusively to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions set forth in the official Warranty Policy.
Where applicable and approved by GDT, the warranty is limited to replacement of the qualifying implant or related GDT-manufactured component in cases such as verified manufacturing defect, implant fracture, contamination in the original sealed packaging, or another qualifying product-related failure that meets the policy requirements.
