Research and development is where every GDT Dental Implants product begins. Each implant system, prosthetic component, surgical tool, and restorative solution is developed with a clear focus on precision, clinical usability, manufacturing consistency, and long term product reliability.

Engineering & Production

Our R&D process combines implantology knowledge, engineering expertise, advanced production technology, and strict quality control. Every new product is evaluated according to its clinical purpose, mechanical performance, material behavior, prosthetic fit, production feasibility, and compatibility within modern implant workflows.

Our development work is closely connected to our manufacturing capabilities. GDT’s production team includes qualified engineers and certified technicians who operate advanced CNC bar lathes with dynamic tool correction. This allows us to manufacture implant and prosthetic components with high accuracy and tolerances as tight as ±0.001mm.

Implant Surface Technology

Surface technology is another important area of development. GDT uses advanced implant surface treatments, including SLA and RBM, to create controlled surface roughness intended to support bone to implant contact and osseointegration. Surface quality and cleanliness are examined using analytical methods such as scanning electron microscopy, X ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and energy dispersive X ray spectroscopy.

Controlled Testing, Validation, and Quality Standards

Because development and production work closely together, product ideas can be tested, refined, and improved efficiently while maintaining strict manufacturing and quality requirements. Each product is reviewed through inspection, cleaning protocols, production validation, and quality assurance procedures before being added to the GDT portfolio.

GDT’s development and manufacturing processes follow ISO 13485:2016 quality management standards, supporting consistency, traceability, and regulatory compliance across the product range.
