Zygomatic Implant Drills and Burs for Procedure-Specific Bone Preparation
GDT Zygomatic Implant Drills and Burs are designed for use in zygomatic implant procedures. The collection includes a round ball bur, a diamond drum bur, and zygomatic drills in two diameters. Each component has a specific role within the planned surgical sequence and should be selected according to the procedure, required instrument size, and selected height.
The Ø2.4 mm Zygomatic Round Ball Bur is manufactured from stainless steel and has a 70 mm height. It is used to create the initial drilling starting point.
Diamond Drum Burs and DLC Coated Drills
The Ø4.2 mm Diamond Drum Bur is manufactured from stainless steel with diamond grit and has a 40 mm height. It is intended for groove preparation before use of the zygomatic implant drill. The bur is available in medium and coarse grit options. The coarse grit option is used to create the groove, while the medium grit option is used to trim and smooth sharp bone edges.
GDT Zygomatic Drills are available in Ø2.9 mm and Ø3.5 mm options. Both are manufactured from stainless steel with a diamond-like carbon, or DLC, coating and include clear depth marks. The Ø2.9 mm drill is available in 54 mm and 81 mm heights. The Ø3.5 mm drill is available in 54 mm and 86 mm heights.
