GDT FlexSoft Primer is designed for use before applying our Flex Soft Reline to ensure optimal adhesion between the material and the existing denture base. One of the primary functions of this primer is to enhance the bond between the two materials, preventing the reline from peeling off or detaching during use. By chemically interacting with both the denture base material, and the flex soft this primer creates a strong, reliable connection that contributes significantly to the longevity and durability of the reline, reducing the need for frequent re-applications and minimizing the likelihood of reline failures.
Additionally, the primer helps to prevent microleakage by sealing the interface between the denture base and the silicone reline. This barrier prevents fluids and bacteria from penetrating the reline, thereby reducing the risk of irritation, infection, and other oral health issues. This feature is particularly important for maintaining the hygiene and health of the patient’s mouth.
