GBR Locking Tenting Screw is a two-component locking system designed for securing and supporting membrane barriers in GBR (Guided Bone Regeneration) procedures, specifically addressing 1-2-3 wall defects and horizontal and vertical bone augmentations.

The GBR Locking Tenting Screw comprises an anchor and a cover screw, working smoothly to enhance the efficacy of the GBR technique. The anchor, easily implanted or removed with a 1.25 hex driver, features an aggressive tip design facilitating self-drilling into the bone. This unique characteristic allows for precise positioning without the need for a separate drill. The anchor's polished neck and wide upper part, featuring the entrance for the cover screw, ensure robust fixation of the membrane. The GBR Locking cover screw is effortlessly tightened or removed utilizing the GDT GBR Motor Mount, it's used to securely fixate the barrier to the anchor. Its user-friendly design facilitates easy membrane placement and fixation, mitigating the risk of lateral displacements or intrusion.

The GBR Locking Tenting Screw stands out as a highly reliable solution, particularly in securing hard membranes like titanium mesh plates during surgical interventions. The aggressive tip and thread design engage with the bone, allowing for precise placement without the need for extensive drilling—except in cases involving cortical bone, where prior drilling is recommended to ensure exceptional stability throughout the entire procedure.
